The Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department receives no tax revenues and operates entirely on proceeds from our Mountain Festival and Art Auctions (September 3rd 2007), donations from the public, the Rist Canyon Bike Festival and the occasional grant.
Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire and Emergency Medical Services are available to not only the residents of our community but to visitors and neighboring communities as well.
